Multiple listed companies have announced that they have received tariff refunds from the United States.

According to announcements from public companies, since July, multiple companies have stated that they have received refunds for U.S. tariffs. Following a ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court in February this year, which determined that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act does not authorize the president to impose large-scale tariffs, the U.S. Court of International Trade subsequently ordered customs to process the relevant refunds. The Customs and Border Protection Agency initiated the first phase of refund work on April 20, with the first batch of refunds issued around May 11. Information disclosed by officials from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency on the 4th of this month shows that as of the end of July, the department had completed the refund process for approximately $100 billion in tariffs and provided the relevant information to the Treasury Department for payment.
