On August 8 at 19:00, the Shanghai Marine Monitoring and Forecasting Center issued an orange wave warning signal: Due to the impact of this year's 13th typhoon "White Dolphin," it is expected that from this evening to tomorrow evening: the internal sea area of the Yangtze River estuary will experience medium to high waves of 1.8 to 3.3 meters, reaching the yellow warning level. The northern sea area of Hangzhou Bay will experience medium waves of 1.3 to 2.2 meters, reaching the blue warning level. The sea area of Yangshan Port will see medium to high waves of 1.8 to 3.3 meters, reaching the blue warning level. The outer sea area of the Yangtze River estuary will experience large to huge waves of 3.0 to 4.9 meters, reaching the orange warning level. All relevant units are advised to take precautions against the waves. Currently, the orange wave warning and the blue typhoon warning for Shanghai are in effect; please take note of prevention measures.
