On August 8, 2026, at 17:25, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Natural Resources and the Zhejiang Provincial Meteorological Bureau jointly updated and issued a red warning for geological disaster meteorological risk: From 20:00 on August 8 to 20:00 on August 9, the geological disaster meteorological risk is very high in parts of Ningbo City, Wenzhou City, Shaoxing City, and Taizhou City; the geological disaster meteorological risk is high in parts of Hangzhou City, Ningbo City, Wenzhou City, Shaoxing City, Jinhua City, and Lishui City.
