On the 8th, reporters learned from the Ministry of Water Resources that a special meeting was held on the afternoon of the 7th to analyze and assess the development trend and impact of this year's 13th typhoon, "White Dolphin," and to systematically arrange and deploy flood and storm defense efforts. Reports indicate that Typhoon "White Dolphin" is characterized by significant landfall intensity, high moisture content, a wide impact range, and an extended duration. As a result, it is forecasted that from August 8 to 16, certain rivers in the Zhejiang and Fujian regions, as well as those in the Taihu Lake, Yangtze River, Huai River, Yellow River, Hai River, Liao River basins, will experience noticeable rising water levels, while some small and medium rivers may face significant flooding. There is also a high risk of mountain flood disasters in certain areas.
