New order index rebounds, logistics industry prosperity index remains in the expansion zone.

The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing recently released data showing that in July, the logistics prosperity index for China was 50.4%, a decrease of 0.2 percentage points from the previous month, but overall it remained in the expansion range. The total logistics business volume index showed slight fluctuations, with some industries expanding and key sectors developing rapidly. Hu Han, the deputy chief economist of the China Logistics Information Center, introduced that the total logistics business volume index has been in the expansion range for three consecutive months. By sector, the indices for railway transportation, road transportation, postal and express services, and multimodal transportation are all in the expansion range, with the multimodal transportation business volume index at 54%, an increase of 0.5 percentage points from the previous month.
