At 1:00 PM today, the center of Typhoon "White Dolphin" was located about 465 kilometers southeast of Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, over the ocean, with maximum wind speeds of 14 levels and 45 meters per second near the center. Although it is still some distance from Zhejiang, the outer cloud systems of "White Dolphin" have triggered convective activity this morning in southern Jiangsu, southeastern Anhui, and Zhejiang. Tomorrow, around the time of landfall, rainfall in East China will further intensify, with heavy to torrential rain expected in southern Jiangsu, southeastern Anhui, Shanghai, and most of Zhejiang. In southern Shanghai and eastern Zhejiang, extraordinary rain is forecast, with local areas receiving rainfall amounts reaching 400 millimeters or even over 500 millimeters, indicating strong extremity, and precaution is advised.
