Jinan issues another 50 million yuan subsidy for new car purchases, applications open from August 20.

According to Jinan Daily, on the evening of August 7, reporters learned from the Jinan Municipal Bureau of Commerce that starting at 10 a.m. on August 20, 2026, the "Full Throttle Spring City Purchase" automobile purchase subsidy program will officially commence application. The total funding for this event is 50 million yuan and is aimed at individuals and companies purchasing non-operating passenger vehicles from participating automobile enterprises in Jinan, with no restrictions on household registration or registration locations. The funding will cease once the total amount is used up. The subsidy standard is divided into five tiers based on the purchase invoice amount. It is important to note that this new purchase subsidy cannot be combined with the 2026 Jinan automotive trade-in subsidy policy; each new vehicle is eligible for only one subsidy. The subsidy applies to vehicles purchased after July 15 that have been issued a "Unified Motor Vehicle Sales Invoice."
