1.557 billion kilowatts! Nationwide electricity load has hit a new high.
According to information from the National Energy Administration, the national electricity load reached a new high today, hitting 1.557 billion kilowatts, marking the fourth time this year it has set a new record. Since July 29, the national electricity load has been running at a high level, with daily maximum loads exceeding last year's peak. In 25 provinces, including Beijing, Liaoning, Jiangsu, and Jiangxi, the electricity load has set new records 78 times in total. The National Energy Administration stated that it will further monitor the growth of electricity loads and guide local areas and power grid enterprises to firmly maintain the baseline for residential electricity use, ensuring a stable and orderly response to peak summer demand.
