Anhui has launched a Level IV emergency response for flood defense in 10 cities.

The Anhui Provincial Water Resources Department has initiated a Level IV emergency response for flood defense in ten cities: Hefei, Chuzhou, Lu'an, Ma'anshan, Wuhu, Xuancheng, Tongling, Chizhou, Anqing, and Huangshan. According to forecasts from the meteorological department, Typhoon No. 13, named "White Dolphin," is expected to make landfall on the coastal areas from Zhejiang to northern Fujian between the afternoon of August 9 and the morning of August 10, and will pass near the border between Anhui Province and Jiangxi Province from the night of the 10th to the morning of the 11th.
