Shanghai Intellectual Property Office and Huawei Company Hold Discussion and Exchange

On August 6, Zhu Qigao, Director of the Shanghai Intellectual Property Bureau, held discussions with Wang Bin, General Manager of Huawei's Licensing Division for China, regarding intellectual property work. Deputy Director Yu Chen also participated in the discussion. During the meeting, Wang Bin introduced Huawei's overall intellectual property layout and the progress of its standard essential patent licensing business, and exchanged views on relevant intellectual property suggestions. Zhu Qigao pointed out that Shanghai will continue to focus on the innovative development needs of leading industries, coordinating efforts to strengthen the protection and utilization of intellectual property across the entire chain, thereby creating a favorable innovation environment for innovative entities. Yu Chen introduced the overall progress of Shanghai's intellectual property work and responded to intellectual property issues of concern to Huawei.
