Xiamen Tungsten: The joint venture company has suspended operations for the rare earth project in Mengkang, Laos.

Xiamen Tungsten Industry Co., Ltd. announced that its affiliate, Chijin Xiamen Tungsten, has decided to suspend operations of the Mengkang Rare Earth Mine project located in Mengkang County, Champhone District, Laos, in response to policy requirements related to the development of rare earth resources. The project is currently in the trial production phase, producing 998.56 tons of rare earth products in 2025, with a net profit attributable to the parent company of -106.5931 million yuan. After the suspension of operations, Chijin Xiamen Tungsten will continue to advance the renewal of mining rights and permits and seek solutions.
