On August 7, the Haichen Energy Shandong Long-Duration Energy Storage Integrated Industrial Park was mass produced in the Lunan New District of Heze. This industrial park is the world's first integrated industrial park focused on long-duration energy storage, with a total investment exceeding 13 billion yuan. Upon reaching full production, it will have an annual output of 30 GWh of 1175 Ah long-duration energy storage cells and 20 GWh of 6.25 MWh systems. Haichen Energy pointed out that relying on scaled production capacity, the company will promote the global lithium battery long-duration energy storage to enter an era of large-scale delivery. Currently, there is a common consensus in China that a full power discharge of 4 hours is considered long-duration energy storage.
