On August 5, local time, as it released its first financial report since going public, SpaceX announced on social media that it is collaborating with NVIDIA to jointly develop the Starmind AI1 satellite computing payload. Each Starmind satellite will be equipped with NVIDIA's Rubin GPU and Vera CPU, achieving data center-level space computing capabilities. NVIDIA also confirmed this collaboration on social media, stating: "The next chapter of AI infrastructure is venturing into territories never explored before in AI computing."
