Houthi forces attacked a Yemeni government military camp.
According to sources from the Yemeni government, on August 6, Yemeni government military camps in Marib and Hadramaut provinces were attacked, resulting in the deaths of at least 30 Yemeni government soldiers, with the death toll likely to rise. On the same day, Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree issued a video statement announcing missile and drone strikes on what he described as "Saudi military deployments" in multiple locations in these two provinces, claiming that hundreds of "pro-Saudi militants" were killed or injured, and that military camps, weapon depots, and vehicles were destroyed.
