NVIDIA is considering a radical move to address the shortage of high-end, high-bandwidth memory chips: adopting a lower-than-planned memory configuration for its next-generation graphics processor, Rubin Ultra. According to insiders, NVIDIA has tested at least three versions of the Rubin Ultra graphics card over the past few weeks, with some versions featuring a memory size smaller than the specifications initially announced by the company. Alphabet (GOOG.O) recently garnered approximately $115 billion in orders for its latest round of large-scale bond issuance, indicating that investors have regained interest in debt related to the AI boom following a recent sell-off. According to informed sources, the demand attracted by this bond issuance exceeded the expected maximum issuance size of $25 billion by four times. This demand surpassed the subscription levels achieved by other recent AI-related bond issuances from companies like Amazon and SpaceX. In order to attract demand, Alphabet offered relatively high issuance discounts to investors.
