According to the latest smartphone model sales tracking report released by Counterpoint Research, the global high-end smartphone market (wholesale average price of $600 and above) continues to demonstrate growth resilience in the first half of 2026, with sales increasing by 5% year-on-year. Its share of total global smartphone sales rose to 29%, setting a record high, surpassing 25% in the first half of 2025 and 20% in the first half of 2022. In the first half of 2026, the combined market share of Apple and Samsung increased from 82% in the first half of 2025 to 84%.
