The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmu, announced on the 5th that a draft bill aimed at laying a legal foundation for the complete dissolution of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and its armed groups has officially been submitted to parliament. According to Turkey's "Freedom Newspaper," the draft suggests that if the Turkish security agencies determine that the PKK and all related organizations have ceased to exist and surrendered all weapons, it may allow for the postponement or parole of ongoing related investigations, prosecutions, and the execution of any convictions rendered.
