Australia has launched the third sunset review investigation into anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures concerning Chinese welded pipes.

On August 3, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission released Notice No. 2026/093, stating that in response to an application submitted by Australian domestic enterprises, it will initiate a third sunset review investigation into anti-dumping and countervailing measures on welded pipes imported from mainland China, and will also initiate a third sunset review investigation into anti-dumping measures on welded pipes imported from South Korea, Malaysia, and Taiwan. The investigation period for this case is from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission expects to complete the report on the basic facts of this investigation by no later than November 23, 2026, and submit the final determination report to the Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science by no later than January 5, 2027.
