On the 4th, Mexico's prosecution department announced the dismantling of four illegal oil refining sites during a smuggling operation, seizing nearly 1 million liters of petroleum derivatives. According to AFP, these illegal refining sites are located in the central region of Mexico, involving the states of San Luis Potos, Hidalgo, and Morelos. Photos released by the prosecution show multiple giant industrial storage tanks equipped with complex piping networks. Trucks frequently enter and exit these illegal refining sites, some of which emit the smell of fuel. It is these conditions that drew the attention of law enforcement agencies. In addition to seizing illegal fuel, law enforcement also confiscated relevant transportation and machinery equipment.
