Lu Wenge, a former member of the Party Leadership Group of the Jiangxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission, was expelled from the Party and public office for serious disciplinary violations and illegal activities.

On August 4, the Jiangxi Provincial Discipline Inspection and Supervision Commission announced that, with the approval of the Jiangxi Provincial Committee, it has initiated a formal review and investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Lu Wenge, former member of the Party Leadership Group of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and former Secretary and Director of the Provincial Grain and Material Reserves Bureau.
