Kioxia launches ultra-high IOPS SSD with random read IOPS as high as 10 million.

Kioxia has released the KIOXIA GP1 series PCIe expansion card, optimized for direct GPU access, with random read IOPS of up to 10 million. This series of SSDs utilizes KIOXIA's second-generation XL-FLASH memory, achieving flash-based memory expansion to meet the growing performance and memory demands of artificial intelligence infrastructure. Evaluation samples will be provided to select customers by the end of 2026.
