The Central Meteorological Observatory continues to issue dual warnings for heavy rain and strong convective weather.

The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow alert for heavy rain at 18:00 on August 4: It is expected that from 20:00 on August 4 to 20:00 on August 5, areas in central and northeastern Heilongjiang, central and southeastern Shaanxi, southwestern Shanxi, western Henan, western Hubei, central and western Hunan, southeastern Chongqing, northeastern Guizhou, southern and western Yunnan, southeastern and northern Guangxi, southwestern coastal Guangdong, and Hainan Island will experience heavy to torrential rain. Among these areas, there will be localized torrential rain in central and southeastern Shaanxi, southwestern Henan, southwestern Yunnan, and southern and northeastern Hainan Island; short-term heavy precipitation is expected in some of these areas, accompanied by severe convective weather such as thunderstorms and strong winds.
