The National Development and Reform Commission has urgently allocated 50 million yuan from the central budget to support post-disaster emergency recovery following the floods in Heilongjiang.
Recently, affected by heavy rainfall, many areas in Heilongjiang have experienced flooding disasters. On August 4, the National Disaster Prevention and Relief Committee initiated a Level Four national emergency response for disaster relief. According to the "National Emergency Plan for Natural Disaster Relief" and the situation of disaster losses in Heilongjiang Province, the National Development and Reform Commission urgently arranged a central budget investment of 50 million yuan to support Heilongjiang Province in carrying out post-disaster emergency recovery from the flooding. This funding will focus on the emergency recovery and reconstruction of infrastructure in the disaster-stricken areas, such as damaged roads and water conservancy facilities, as well as public service facilities like schools and hospitals, to facilitate the swift restoration of normal production and living order.
