The National Development and Reform Commission has allocated an additional 300 million yuan in central budgetary investment to support Liaoning and Jilin in further improving post-disaster emergency recovery from rainstorm and flood disasters.

Severe rainstorm and flood disasters have occurred in many places in Liaoning and Jilin provinces. The National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Committee has activated the national Level 4 disaster relief emergency response. The National Development and Reform Commission, on July 14 and 15, urgently arranged an additional 30 million yuan on top of the 60 million yuan allocated from the central budget to support Liaoning and Jilin provinces in further emergency recovery efforts in the disaster-affected areas and to promote the swift restoration of normal production and living order.
