Air China Technology Holdings (00232) subsidiary CAT US has entered into a settlement agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice.

The Zhihua Finance APP reported that Mainland Aviation Technology Holdings (00232) announced that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Continental Aerospace Technologies, Inc. (CAT US), signed a settlement agreement (the Settlement Agreement) with the U.S. Department of Justice (the DOJ) on July 31, 2026 (Central Daylight Time). The agreement pertains to the PPP loan that CAT US obtained and subsequently had exempted under the U.S. Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). The settlement must remain confidential. On August 3, 2026 (Central Daylight Time), the DOJ notified CAT US that it did not oppose the company's disclosure of the settlement. Following the DOJ's non-opposition confirmation, CAT US promptly informed the company about the disclosure of the settlement.
