On August 3, the Haikou City Joint Investigation Team announced that recently, some netizens posted on social media platforms to report issues such as "law enforcement officers encountering difficulties in filing cases after seizing concealed transportation of dangerous goods," "gaps in port safety production supervision," and "unjust treatment of law enforcement personnel." In response, the Haikou Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government attach great importance to these issues and have established a joint investigation team consisting of departments such as public security, justice, emergency management, maritime affairs, and human resources to conduct investigation and verification work. Regarding the law enforcement officers seizing concealed transportation of dangerous goods, the public security authorities have already filed and investigated the case in accordance with the law in June this year. In terms of safety production risks at Haikou Port, relevant departments in Haikou City are currently conducting a "source clearing and hazard removal" special rectification campaign over a hundred days, strictly investigating, cracking down, and managing. The investigation team is also verifying and understanding the reported personal issues.
