Ten rural commercial banks in Sichuan approved for dissolution.

On August 3, the Sichuan Supervisory Bureau of the National Financial Regulatory Administration approved the dissolution of ten rural commercial banks: Sichuan Pingwu Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd., Sichuan Santai Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd., Sichuan Renshou Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd., Sichuan Zitong Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd., Sichuan Danleng Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd., Sichuan Jiangyou Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd., Sichuan Beichuan Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd., Sichuan Hongya Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd., Sichuan Yanting Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd., and Sichuan Qingshen Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. The approval states that from the date of receipt, these banks shall immediately cease all operations, and the shareholders' meetings, boards of directors, and senior management shall immediately stop exercising their powers, return the financial licenses, make dissolution announcements to the public, and complete the deregistration procedures in accordance with the law.
