Two departments: Strengthen the construction of electric vehicle charging infrastructure network.

The National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration have issued the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Construction of New Power System." The plan proposes to accelerate the construction of a charging infrastructure network with urban surface layouts, public transport route layouts, and rural point layouts. It promotes the renovation and upgrading of charging facilities in highway service areas to create an intercity network that effectively meets the needs of medium to long-distance travel. The plan aims to increase the proportion of fast charging facilities and steadily advance the construction of high-power charging infrastructure, achieving full coverage of public charging facilities in rural areas, except for islands and high-altitude regions.
