Two departments: Strengthen the foundational theoretical research and application of "Artificial Intelligence+" in the electric power industry.

The National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration have issued the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Construction of a New Electric Power System." The plan proposes to strengthen the development and utilization of data resources in the power industry, promote the integration of artificial intelligence to empower the construction of the new electric power system, and drive the digitalization and smart upgrade of the entire process and all aspects of the power industry. It emphasizes basic theoretical research and applications of "Artificial Intelligence+" in the power industry, launching pilot projects around typical application scenarios, and creating a number of replicable and scalable benchmark cases.
