TrendForce: It is expected that CSP capital expenditure will grow by 90% year-on-year this year, and the shipment growth forecast for AI servers in 2026 has been raised to nearly 31%.
According to the latest AI server industry research by TrendForce, in the context of surging demand for AI infrastructure, global capital expenditures by the nine major cloud service providers (CSPs) are projected to increase by approximately 90% year-on-year by 2026. Recently, ultra-large CSPs and Tier-2 data center operators have shown a significant increase in their purchasing intentions for NVIDIA's GB/VR all-in-one AI server solutions. Additionally, Google's and AWS's new generation of ASIC platforms will gradually ramp up production in the second half of 2026. Coupled with Chinese enterprises expanding their use of local AI solutions to meet the AI demands of cloud-based large language models (LLMs), this has prompted TrendForce to revise its forecast for the annual growth rate of AI server shipments in 2026 from the previous 28% to nearly 31%.
