According to the data, the number of mortgage registrations for completed flats in Hong Kong in July dropped by 22.9% month-on-month, hitting a new three-month low.

According to data from Jingluo Mortgage Referral Research Department and the Land Registry of Hong Kong, the number of mortgage registrations for completed properties in July this year was 6,927, a decrease of 2,056 or 22.9% compared to the previous month. This marks a decline for two consecutive months and a three-month low. Meanwhile, the number of mortgage registrations for pre-sale properties recorded only 441, a sharp month-on-month drop of 51.8%, also reaching a three-month low.
