According to the news released by the meteorological department, on August 3, strong rainfall is expected in eastern Sichuan, most of Chongqing, northern and western Guizhou, and northern and western Yunnan. To ensure the safety of train operations and passenger travel during the flood season, on August 3, the China National Railway Chengdu Bureau's Chongqing Station temporarily suspended 38 trains. The Chengdu Bureau's Chongqing Station took temporary suspension measures for some trains passing through the Xiangyu Railway, Yugu Railway, Lanyu Railway, and Yuhuai Railway, covering train services in multiple directions, including those from Chongqing to Beijing West, Guangzhou Baiyun, Shenzhen, Kunming, Urumqi, Hohhot East, and Lanzhou.
