Morningstar: The market underestimates NVIDIA's growth prospects, raising the target price to $280.
Morningstar's report indicates that Nvidia's fair value estimate is $280 per share, representing about a 40% upside compared to last Friday's closing price. Morningstar believes there are two core factors supporting this assessment: first, Nvidia possesses a wide economic moat, with its GPU chips, CUDA software ecosystem, and related products maintaining an irreplaceable technological advantage in the market; second, as major cloud service providers continue to ramp up investment in AI infrastructure, Morningstar expects Nvidia's revenue to sustain strong growth momentum, even projecting an 80% revenue growth rate by 2027. Morningstar's senior stock analyst Brian Colello stated, "Given that AI capital expenditures are likely to remain strong in the short to medium term, and even expected to continue growing in the long term, we believe the market is underestimating Nvidia's growth prospects, and this stock currently looks very attractive."
