State Grid: Multiple regions experience record-high electricity loads, taking multiple measures to ensure power supply.
Due to the recent widespread high-temperature weather, the operating area of the State Grid Corporation of China has seen multiple regions set new historical highs for electricity load. From July 27 to 31, the power grids in North China and Northeast China, as well as the provincial-level grids in Tianjin, Hebei North, Jiangsu, Liaoning, and Inner Mongolia East, have repeatedly reached record highs in load. The company always prioritizes power supply assurance as its primary political task, fully leveraging the advantages of a large power grid and market, efficiently utilizing inter-provincial and inter-regional transmission channels, and actively engaging in mutual assistance of surpluses and shortages, as well as time and space complementarity, to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid and reliable electricity supply. All units have tightened and solidified their supply assurance responsibilities, fully implementing six aspects with 24 key tasks for power supply assurance during the summer peak season, reasonably arranging grid operation modes, strengthening operational and maintenance guarantees at all levels of the grid, and making every effort to meet the needs of economic and social development as well as people's electricity usage.
