Recently, Jaguar Land Rover Investment Co., Ltd. and Jaguar Land Rover Trading Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the "Regulations on the Management of Recalls of Defective Automobile Products" and its implementing measures. I. Jaguar Land Rover Investment Co., Ltd. Recall number S2026M0079V: Recalling a total of 854 imported Jaguar I-Pace vehicles produced from April 11, 2018, to July 13, 2020. The power battery of vehicles within the scope of this recall may experience thermal overload, which in extreme cases can lead to battery fires, posing a safety hazard. Jaguar Land Rover Investment Co., Ltd. will implement phased measures for vehicles within the recall scope starting from now: upgrading the battery energy control module software to set the vehicle's charging limit to 90% and monitor the operation status of the power battery. When the software detects a warning, it will replace the power battery module for free to ensure the normal and safe operation of the vehicle. The Jaguar Land Rover technical team is developing further solutions to be implemented for vehicles within the recall scope to eliminate safety hazards. II. Jaguar Land Rover Investment Co., Ltd. and Jaguar Land Rover Trading Co., Ltd. Recall number S2026M0080V: Starting from August 8, 2026, a total of 76,422 Land Rover Range Rover and Land Rover Discovery vehicles produced between December 7, 2020, and May 7, 2026, are being recalled. Recall number S2026M0081V: Starting from August 8, 2026, a total of 83,810 Land Rover Defender vehicles produced between January 13, 2020, and April 24, 2026, are being recalled. For vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to design reasons, there may be slight corrosion at the steering wheel wire connection to the driver's airbag joint, causing an increase in resistance in the driver's airbag circuit. This may trigger the auxiliary restraint system warning light to illuminate, potentially preventing the driver's airbag from deploying properly and posing a safety hazard.
