Tencent reorganizes its structure: merging the large language model and multimodal team, both now under the management of Yao Shunyu.

Tencent announced the merger of the Mixed Multimodal Model Department and the Large Language Model Department, establishing the Basic Model Department. It is now managed by Tencent's Chief AI Scientist, Yao Shunyu, in order to further improve model research and collaboration efficiency, and to explore the intelligence limits of all-mode models.
