The cargo throughput of the Yangtze River main shipping channel reached 1.97 billion tons in the first half of the year.

According to the Yangtze River Navigation Administration of the Ministry of Transport, in the first half of this year, the cargo throughput of Yangtze River mainline ports reached 1.97 billion tons, including a container throughput of 14.218 million TEUs, an increase of 3.9% year-on-year; the transportation of key materials was effectively guaranteed, and the operation of the Yangtze River golden waterway was smooth and orderly.
