A batch of regulations related to certified public accountants will be revised.
After more than ten years of major revisions, the "Certified Public Accountants Law of the People's Republic of China" will come into effect on January 1st next year. In order to comply with the new law, the Ministry of Finance is currently revising relevant regulations. Recently, the Ministry of Finance announced a notice on the implementation of the new amended Certified Public Accountants Law, with a major focus on accelerating the modification and improvement of supporting systems. The Ministry of Finance stated that in order to implement the new amended Certified Public Accountants Law, the Ministry of Finance is actively promoting the modification or formulation of supporting systems such as the "Measures for the Practice License and Supervision Management of Accounting Firms", "Registration Measures for Certified Public Accountants", and "Qualification Inspection Measures for Certified Public Accountants". They are also studying the strengthening of the connection and coordination between the practice license of accounting firms and the registration of business entities, improving the self-discipline and supervision system of the certified public accountants industry, ensuring the effective implementation of the new amended Certified Public Accountants Law.
