The first quantitative hyperspectral intelligent satellite domestically has been successfully launched into orbit! This will make the ecological conditions of mining areas clear at a glance.
This morning, the domestically developed first quantitative hyperspectral intelligent computing satellite - "Xi Guang 2 01", carried by the Long March 4B carrier rocket, was successfully launched into orbit and will serve for ecological monitoring of mining areas. This satellite achieves a spatial resolution of 10 meters and a spectral resolution of 7 nanometers for the first time in the visible-infrared spectral domain in the commercial hyperspectral field in China. It greatly enhances China's ability to acquire high-spatial-resolution hyperspectral data from satellites, capable of obtaining up to 1 million square kilometers of high-resolution hyperspectral remote sensing images per day. At the same time, it integrates hyperspectral remote sensing, artificial intelligence, and on-board computing power for the first time.
