Tencent's cross-border payment platform TenPay Global has reached a cooperation agreement with Liberty Bank of Kazakhstan.

On July 22, according to Tencent news, the company's cross-border payment platform TenPay Global has reached a cooperation agreement with Kazakhstan's Freedom Bank. The two parties will promote cross-border QR code payment interoperability, as well as expand cooperation in areas such as cross-border remittances and cross-border trade. With the implementation of the cooperation, residents of Kazakhstan can come to China, open the Freedom SuperApp, scan the WeChat payment QR code, and easily consume in China.
