On July 22, Fu Bingfeng, Vice President and Secretary General of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, stated at the 2026 China Automobile Forum that in the first half of this year, more than 500 new cars were introduced to the market. Most automobile companies are pursuing a "bigger and more comprehensive" product layout, leading to increasingly severe problems of homogenization among car models.
