Reporters learned from the routine press conference of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security held on July 22 that as of the end of June, the number of participants in the national basic old-age insurance, unemployment insurance, and work-related injury insurance was 1.076 billion, 249 million, and 323 million respectively. From January to June, the total income of the three social insurance funds was 4.88 trillion yuan, and the total expenditure was 4.14 trillion yuan. By the end of June, the cumulative surplus of the funds was 11.07 trillion yuan, and the overall operation of the funds was stable.
