According to Taiwan's Business Times report, Wistron announced the opening of its D1 AI intelligent factory in Fort Worth, Texas on the 21st of the central time in the United States. The factory cost nearly $700 million and covers an area of approximately 324,000 square feet. It has become an important base for the global AI infrastructure manufacturing network and produced the first NVIDIA GB300 computing board in the United States. NVIDIA CEO Huang Renxun also attended the unveiling ceremony and stated in an interview that the demand for AI is strong, with NVIDIA's annual growth doubling. Therefore, the expansion and increase in production capacity of more AI factories is necessary. Wistron Chairman Lin Xianming also revealed that in addition to the D1 factory, Wistron will also establish a D2 factory twice the size in the future, and may even consider the construction of D3 and D4 factories.
