UK employers maintain salary agreement increase from 4-6% in the months of April to June.
Data released on Wednesday showed that despite concerns about the possibility of a war with Iran and economic uncertainty, the three-month average of pay agreements for UK employers remained stable up to June. The Bank of England is expected to study this data. Data from the human resources data company Brightmine showed that the median pay increase offered by employers remained at 3.3% for the three months ending in June, staying consistent with the previous three rolling quarters. "Although the overall situation for 2027 is still uncertain, the significant stability shown so far this year indicates that organizations are still seeking more sustainable pay positioning despite facing broader economic challenges," said Sheila Attwood, Senior Content Manager at Brightmine.
