According to the Wisdom Financial APP, on July 21, Cui Dongshu, Secretary General of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, released an analysis of the national and provincial automotive production. The automotive industry is rapidly iterating and upgrading, relying on electrification transformation, and the automotive industry structure is increasingly clustered. From January to June 2026, the total domestic automobile production was 15.1 million units, a 3% year-on-year decrease, with significant regional differentiation. The region of Changjiu and Zhu Sanjiao achieved positive growth, with Changjiu producing 4.99 million units, leading with a growth rate of 14%. Compared with historical data, Changjiu's production capacity has expanded rapidly in recent years, breaking one million units for the whole year in 2025, becoming a core growth pole; the Northeast continues to decline year by year, with the decline of traditional industrial advantages. The production in the central and Chengdu-Chongqing regions fluctuates significantly, the regional industrial pattern is being restructured, and the concentration of new energy production capacity in the Changjiu and Zhu Sanjiao regions is the core reason for differentiation.
