Part of Baise, Guangxi experienced heavy rain, causing multiple rivers to rise.
This morning, a reporter learned from the Baise Hydrological Center in Guangxi that, according to hydrological monitoring, over the past 24 hours, most of the Baise area experienced heavy rain to torrential rain, with some areas experiencing severe rainstorms. The area with the highest daily rainfall was 192.0 millimeters in Shayeli Village, Youping Township, Leye County. Some rivers in the area have experienced water level rises of 1.0 to 3.05 meters, with the largest increase occurring at the Leli River section in Lucheng Township, Tianlin County, where a peak water level of 368.57 meters was reached at 4:35 on the 19th, exceeding the warning level by 0.07 meters.
By 8 a.m., the floodwaters at the Leli River section in Lucheng Township, Tianlin County had receded below the warning level, and most rivers in the Youshui River Valley were slowly rising, with others remaining at normal levels. The water level of the Baise Hydrological Station on the Youjiang River was 115.26 meters, all below the warning level. Over the next 24 hours, it is expected that some rivers in the southern mountainous areas and the Youjiang River Valley may experience water level rises of 1.0 to 3.0 meters. The focus will be on the Pan River in the Youjiang District, the Baidong River, Tianzhou River, and Lingqi River in Tianyang District, the Lingqi River in Tiandong County, and the Baihe River in Napo County.
