UK Maritime Trade Operations: Maritime Incident in Waters off the Coast of Yemen Re-categorized as Vessel Hijacking

The UK Maritime Trade Operations office has reclassified the incident that occurred 65 nautical miles south of the port of Mukalla in Yemen as a hijacking, with the vessel in question being boarded and controlled by unidentified individuals. At the time of the incident, the vessel was sailing eastward in the Gulf of Aden. The military has informed the UK Maritime Trade Operations office that the vessel in question has been controlled and sailed into Somali territorial waters.
