NetEase Youdao WAIC premieres AI headphones OpenPods.

On July 18, 2026, at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference, NetEase Youdao publicly unveiled Youdao OpenPods for the first time. This device supports real-time interpretation of more than a dozen languages, as well as recording transcription, automatic generation of structured minutes, and mind mapping functions. It is reported that these headphones have been officially mass-produced and are expected to be officially released in August. Youdao stated that OpenPods will go abroad in the future.
