Shanghai "Stellar Axis Plan" Debut Constellation Release

On the afternoon of July 18th, at the "Future Computing, Future Computing Power" thematic forum of the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, the Shanghai iconic space digital infrastructure project "Star Hub Plan" officially released its constellation to the public. The "Star Hub Plan" symbolizes "the core of the stars, the total hub of computing power" and is a benchmark project in the space computing industry that Shanghai is focusing on. The project is positioned as Shanghai's flagship space computing constellation project. During the project verification phase, 2 computing power stars and 12 edge computing stars will be launched. During the commercial deployment phase, 50 computing power stars and 100 edge computing stars will be launched, and during the commercial operation phase, deployment of thousands of stars will be completed.
