Domestic 14-meter large diameter tunnel boring machine "Vanguard" successfully offline

On July 17th, the domestically produced 14-meter ultra-large diameter shield tunneling machine "Pioneer" built by China Railway 14th Bureau in conjunction with CRCHI was successfully launched in Changsha, Hunan. It will be used in the construction of the first domestic ultra-large diameter shield tunnel under Lake Tai: the tunnel construction of the Wuxi-Yixing intercity rail transit project under Lake Tai section. This is the second batch of shield tunneling machines produced for this tunnel construction project, following the first batch of tunneling machines "XiYi" and "XiWang".
